Secure Middleware for Embedded P2P (SMEPP)

The main objective of this project is to develop a secure, generic and highly customizable middleware system that is interoperable across different devices and domains. The project aims to address issues related to the dynamic ad-hoc networks among peers such as internal and external attacks on its vulnerabilities.

Project Deliverables

  • A generic middleware for embedded P2P systems which includes security primitives against specific attacks.

  • A new interactive model for P2P interaction which will be supported by the secure middleware through services.

  • A customizable component framework which provides the necessary tools for customizing the middleware infrastructure for different devices and network.
